Ministry of Labor issues important notice on legal entities
In order to facilitate the registration of Social Organizations before the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, this department will now receive the request for certifications of legal status online.
This means that the representatives of those who need to register and register the governing bodies and statutory reforms of Cooperatives, Unions, Solidarity Associations, Labor Corporations, Cantonal Agricultural Centers and Regional Committee of Farmer’s Fairs will not have to travel to the central offices of the Ministry.
Now they will be able to carry out the procedure from anywhere in the country, taking advantage of information technologies and digital signature, and even receive the document by the same means.
We are adapting institutional services to the pace of current technological development, which will ultimately facilitate the processes to be carried out by our customers and, incidentally, allow savings in paperwork and the necessary protection of the environment,” said the Minister of Labor, Alfredo Hasbum.
To apply for certification, one must access the Ministry of Labor’s web page http://www.mtss.go.cr., select the option “Procedures and Services” and “Consultation of Social Organizations’ Files” (http://www.mtss.go.cr/tramites-servicios/expediente-literal-organizaciones-sociales.html). A guide to access this service is included in the web page.
In addition, regarding the payment of file stamps associated with each certification issued, the BCR was authorized for the bank to enable the option of electronic payment of the National File stamp at the BCR offices or at its virtual office.
Thus, with this payment the cancellation of this procedure for the certifications issued by the MTSS is given, such transaction can be made through the Tasaban System of the Bank of Costa Rica.
With this, what is sought is to achieve an agile and timely service to those who need to perform this procedure, in addition to reducing transportation costs for users and linking the MTSS in environmental management initiatives.
